The SafeNet middleware application
SafeNet middleware application contains a driver for a Code Signing certificate token and also enables you to use the token as a certificate store. You need the application to activate the certificate, as well as to later for signing.
The current version of the application and installation instructions can be found at DigiCert website. But you can download the application here, too:
- Windows: SafeNet Authentication Client 10.8 R6 (64-Bit)
- MacOS: SafeNet Authentication Client 10.8.29.0
- Linux: SafeNet Authentication Client 10.8.28
Warning: Do not perform actions that you do not understand. For example, initializing a token results in its complete and irreversible deletion; you will lose your purchased CS EV certificate.
Application use
The Code Signing certificate from DigiCert will arrive on hardware token. To use it, you need a password, which can be found in the SSLmarket customer administration. The password is strong and different for every order.
