Termination of Symantec Timestamp Service

(July 19, 2024) DigiCert announces that on July 24, 2024, at 5:00 PM MDT (11:00 PM UTC), the Symantec timestamp service will be terminated. If you use timestamping for signing executable files or documents, you need to change the URL to timestamp.digicert.com before this date. Previous URLs will cease to function, which may cause issues with software builds or invalid document signatures.

Check the Timestamp Server Used

We recommend that customers check which timestamp server they are calling when signing and, if necessary, change it to timestamp.digicert.com. Use this server for all timestamps when signing.
